Our client is a leading global provider of non-exclusive seismic data and associated products to the oil and gas industry specialising in the planning, acquisition, processing, interpretation, and marketing of non-exclusive surveys worldwide. Our client also offers proprietary seismic acquisition and processing services, as well as gravity and aeromagnetic surveys.
The Asia-Pacific regional office, currently located in (Perth) Australia, is responsible for the Asia Pacific region including the Indian sub-continent. The Asia-Pacific office develops, invests in, manages and markets Oil & Gas exploration opportunities in Australasia, Asia (including China) and the Indian Sub-continent (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).
Responsibilities will require successful candidate to:
·Assume responsibility for data management including liaising with external data contractors for storage and processing. Including cataloguing and/or audit of all our external data.
·Manage Clients internal (MS Access) database, and Web based database administration – both encompassing the company’s data library and client data licensing activity.
·Assist technical staff in their day-to-day duties as required.
·Assist client order handling & dispatch.
·Assist in the preparation, consolidation and re-formatting of contracts, marketing proposals and detailed reports. Including advanced formatting linked tables, inserted graphics, cross references etc.
Key Experience and Skills
·Must have a minimum of five years experience including the demonstrated ability in managing database processes / systems.
·Advanced organisation skills.
·Advanced competency in MS Access, MS Word, experience with Excel.
Should be intelligent, confident, well presented, able to work independently, responsible and willing to use own intiative as and when required.
